G. Lorca. Also Chris Deblasio's God Is Our Righteousness for guitar and organ with organist Galen Tate. Other music includes The Battle Hymn of the Republic and choral music by Elgar. Yale School of Music Alumni is the theme of the 2016 biennial Yale Guitar Extravaganza, and I am humbled to be one of the three recitalists and two ensembles selected to perform at the festival concerts. Join me in Morse Recital Hall, the most beautiful venue to see and hear guitar in Connecticut, for the first time since my graduation recitals. I will play a half-concert of mid-century Romantic guitar music by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Ferdinand Rebay. The second half of the concert will be performed by the astonishing young virtuoso Max Zuckerman.
Single tickets are available, as well as all day passes for the other concerts and panels.
