Daniel is a dedicated teacher who has instructed classical guitarists of all ages, and has raised adult beginners and children to advanced levels of playing. He believes that patience, expertise and organized course of study help to realize students' potential at their own pace. A certified teacher in the Suzuki Guitar Method for children, Daniel also works with the Royal Conservatory guitar curriculum and traditional 19th century methods. His students have won 1st prizes in the Salisbury and Columbus State guitar competitions and performed in master-classes for luminaries such as the Brasil Guitar Duo, Jorge Caballero, Thibault Cauvin, Rene Izquierdo, and Michael Partington.
Prospective beginning adult students may choose between group guitar classes with Daniel at Gateway Community College in New Haven or Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport. They may also choose to study with him privately from his studio in New Haven, or at the Suzuki Music School of Westport.
